Web Dimension

A reinterpretation of Darwin's theory of evolution; how's that for a video game concept? In practice, Web Dimension is more early light-synth toy than game. It's a concept that would later be expanded upon by Jeff Minter. In gameplay similar to Amidar, your goal is to guide a cursor along the lines of the web playfield and connect with the elements of life to evolve.

There are different stages and different waves. The music is pretty good and there are a surprisingly large number of different compositions. All in all, the game is pretty mellow. You can probably see all of what Web Dimension has to offer in an afternoon, but I had fun, nonetheless.
