And with that, Sony just won E3. The PS4 is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One, requires no DRM for used games or sharing your games with friends, and does NOT include a mandatory camera.
Who knows what people will actually buy in November. Microsoft arguably showed off some more impressive AAA exclusives in its presser, Insomniac’s Sunset Overdrive, in particular, looks amazing.
But for now, Sony’s got the high ground.
On a side note, Sony and Microsoft both showed a high number of impressive games. Nintendo’s apparent strategy of being all about the games just lost a lot of its oomph.
